(1-18-16) – The VHS girls varsity team dominated this past weekend against the Delta Huskies. On Friday, the pressure defense from Valdez caused problems for the Huskies early in the game. The Lady Bucs took advantage of the Huskie’s poor shooting and jumped out to a massive lead and held on the entire game winning 63-28. On Saturday, the Bucs won 61-28. Sophomore Makenzi Mott established her presence as a prolific scorer in the conference leading the team both nights.
