Tesla, BMW, Ford, Volkswagen, Mazda have removed AM Radios from some or all of their new models and it’s nearly impossible to find a radio these days.
NorthWave Communications (NWC) has been preparing for these changes by investing in streaming audio for both our AM and FM signals. We also built the KVAK App that allows listeners Bluetooth a phone or speaker to listen to both our stations.
We know we still many loyal radio listeners on the 93.3FM and 1230AM terrestrial dial, we but have seen a marked decrease in support for radio advertising and sponsorships that we need to keep it going.
We appreciate our loyal advertisers and look forward to working with them to deliver results on our multiple advertising platforms (website streaming, KVAK App streaming, KV AK’s e-mail newspaper) as we make a slow transition to offering our AM Country station exclusively on our website and KVAK App streaming platforms.
