Buccaneer wrestling continued this past weekend at the annual Dustin Baxter Memorial Invitational. Leading the way for the Bucs was Sophomore Kaden Vanbuskirk placing 1st at 130lbs and Freshman Bryndi Beck placing 1st in the girls 107lbs division. Kaden dominated his way through the tournament, winning every match via pin, and avenged a loss from the week prior in dominating fashion. Bryndi also dominated her way through the tournament, winning every match via pin or technical fall (match ends when you are 15 points ahead), even after bumping up a weight class to get more matches.
Next week the Bucs stay home for Thanksgiving, then travel up to North Pole for the annual John Tobin Invitational.
