VCS Principals have each nominated a teacher from their school to be recognized for all they do.
Molly shows up every day with an infectious positive attitude. Over the past year and a half, she has done tremendous work to help our preschool achieve conditional approval from the state, all while pursuing her master’s degree.
She is organizing a Hunter Safety course for students on Fridays, in addition to leading the journalism sessions. She is also in the process of organizing the cross-country ski team and coordinating all the necessary details for the December play. Her efforts are greatly enriching the experience that the middle school students are having at Gilson.
Isaac Deaton consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to his students, guiding them in both achieving their goals in the classroom and in life. He maintains a positive and supportive atmosphere in the classroom, while also fulfilling his responsibilities as the coach of our wrestling team. Isaac is truly an invaluable asset to the Valdez Buccaneers!
