The Valdez Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers.
The purpose of the hearings is to take public testimony concerning the following proposed rezones that have been initiated by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
3046 Fairweather Street – Tract 1, Block 7, Corbin Creek Subdivision Phase II, Plat 2000-11 from Light Industrial to Semi-Rural Residential zoning district. The property owner is City of Valdez.
3053 Bering Street – Lot 5A, Block 4, Corbin Creek Subdivision Phase IV, Plat 2013-3 from a mixture of Unclassified Lands and Single-Family Residential to Single-Family Residential zoning district. The property owner is Tim C. Hastings.
3063 Mendenhall Street – Lot 1A, Block 11, Corbin Creek Subdivision Phase III, Plat 2014-1 from a mixture of Unclassified Lands and Semi-Rural Residential to Semi-Rural Residential zoning district. The property owners are Richard N. Corcoran and Orrasa Saenphan.
3031 Mendenhall Street – Lot 8A, Block 11, Corbin Creek Subdivision Phase III, Plat 2014-2 from a mixture of Light Industrial and Semi-Rural Residential to Semi-Rural Residential zoning district. The property owner is Cynthia S. Clements.
The public is encouraged to provide comments at the meeting or they may submit comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting. Submitted comments will be presented to the Planning & Zoning
