A safety message from the Valdez Snowmachine Club – Racers will be on the trails practicing now through Friday. Please be cautious of racers and fans, as they will be using the trails from the back of the pipeyard, the Softball Fields, via Alpetco dike, to Hogs Back trail and the Haul Dump Road Area. Please be on the alert for snowmachiners this Saturday along the Richardson Highway from Airport Rd to Dayville Road during the 2022 Valdez Mayors Cup.
In-person registration for all classes will be Friday the 18th from 5-8pm at Valdez Brewing or register online on the Valdez Snowmachine Club’s Facebook page by 8pm Friday the 18th. Junior Racers Meeting this Saturday beginning at 8:30am for 200 & Junior Fan & Limited Classes.
Viewing of the race can be done at the Valdez Pipeyard at the Sno X Track where the start & finish lines are located. Additional viewing locations include along the Richardson Highway by the Glacier Stream bridge and the Softball Fields. The award ceremony will be held at 8pm at the Eagles.
