APPLICATIONS BEING ACCEPTED FOR VALDEZ BOARD OF EDUCATION

Do you care about the quality of education our children receive? Would you like to have a
positive influence on our educational system here in Valdez? Do you have definite opinions
regarding graduation requirements, length of school year, school facility renovations, and other
key topics pertaining to the education of our children?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, apply to become a member of the Valdez Board of Education today. This board seat term ends May 3rd, 2022.

Please submit a letter of interest to the Valdez City School District Office administrative assistant by email at sgroundwater@valdezcityschools.org , mail to P.O. Box 398, or drop it by the district office at 1112 West Klutina Street by 4PM on, September 9th, 2021. All interested applicants will be asked to appear at the 13 September, 2021, board meeting to meet with the school board and the public.
