The Valdez Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 7:00 PM in City Council Chambers. The purpose of the hearing is to take public testimony on the request from Alexander Reed to allow for a three-foot (3’) projection of an attached carport into the required ten-foot (10’) side yard setback on his parcel located at 1580 Alaska Court, (Lot 2, Block 1, Cottonwood Subdivision). There are three options for those who would like to submit comments during the meeting: 1. Written comments may be submitted at the planning window at City Hall or emailed to email@example.com. 2. Comments may be presented in person at Council Chambers during the meeting. Please wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. 3. For those who prefer to comment during the meeting but not attend in person, email your name, phone number and “Reed variance comment request” to firstname.lastname@example.org.
